What is your favorite MCA memory?
I have to pick just one? Popping all the balloons at the end of Martin Creed's Half the Air in a Given Space. Meeting Noel Fielding at the museum. Seeing Laurie Anderson talk on our stage. Getting to be a part of Doug Aitken's Station to Station. The impromptu celebration the final night of David Bowie Is. I could keep going . . .
Who is your most memorable colleague or artist? Why?
Recording Jeff Koons for the audio tour for his exhibition sticks out because at first he thought it would be better to have Michael Jordan do it because he insisted he didn’t have much to say. When he finally agreed to do it, he asked to take off his shoes, kept getting super distracted by the view out the window, and then wouldn't stop talking.
