The MCA’s Teen Creative Agency—25 curious and creative 15 to 19-year-olds from all over the Chicagoland area—present the eighth annual 21Minus. This festival of teen creativity and passion fills the museum with exciting projects that invite visitors to engage with the museum and each other in unexpected ways. 21Minus is curated and produced by TCA.
This event is free for people age 21 and under and their families.
Teen Creative Agency
The MCA’s Teen Creative Agency, or TCA, a collective of youth from across Chicago, builds community through public programs that challenge institutional and social norms. We use the platform of the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, disrupting space both within and outside the institution, to encourage inclusivity, empathy, and the redistribution of power. TCA is a paid cultural leadership program for Chicagoland youth 14–19 years old. Applications are open now!
