Jeanette Andrews is an experiential illusionist interested in how illusions construct reality. Through her work she seeks to highlight astonishing aspects of everyday life by creating psychological and visual moments where the seemingly impossible becomes reality. Combining the techniques magic performances with influences not typically seen in magic such as installation art, quantum physics, philosophy, and psychology, she invents a completely unique take on the art of the impossible. She uses sensory anomalies and scientific oddities as a gateway to bridge everyday life to a special, heightened world. When Jeanette is not working, she is probably cooking as she is really interested in our perceptions of the complex experience of eating.
