Contemporary Music in Chicago – Chicago isn’t just a great jazz town – it’s also got some of the finest “classical” music going. In this concert, the Museum presented: Piece with Soprano and Tape by Marcia Cohen, a work for woodwind quintet by M. William Karlins, a Tom Palazzolo film with score by Phil Winsor, and a new work by Robert Lombardo. Featured performers were Rhonda Cundy and the Chicago Chamber Quintet.

With the launch of this website, the MCA has created a platform for archiving and publishing images and stories from our 50-plus-year history.
