Mabou Mines – Mabou Mines, distinguished experimental theater company which synthesizes material from dance, theater, music, mime and the visual arts, presented An Evening of Beckett and The B-Beaver Animation, a delightful exercise in absurdity. The program was part of a special pilot program of the National Endowment for the Arts and the performances were supported in part by grants from the National Endowment and the Illinois Arts CounciI.

With the launch of this website, the MCA has created a platform for archiving and publishing images and stories from our 50-plus-year history. Though many exhibition and event pages currently lack descriptions or illustrations, we’re committed to a program of ongoing research that will fill in the blanks over time.
