The MCA connects you with the best contemporary culture—in Chicago and across the country. On your next vacation, weekend holiday, or getaway don’t forget to pack your MCA membership card to enjoy reciprocal privileges at more than 100 museums across North America.

What is included?

In addition to free admission, participating museums may offer discounts on store purchases, lectures, events, performances, and more.

How does it work?

If you are an MCA Member at the Friend level ($150) or above, simply show your current membership card to any of the participating museums listed below.*

The MCA participates in three reciprocal museum programs:

  • Museum Alliance Reciprocal Program, (MARP), managed by the Baltimore Museum of Art
  • Western Reciprocal Program (WR), managed by the Denver Art Museum
  • The Modern and Contemporary Reciprocal Program (Mod/Co) managed by the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago

Through these programs, we offer our members benefits at the participating museums listed on this page.
