Time Arts Chicago, a companion program to the exhibition Art in Chicago, 1945-1995, explores the city’s dynamic history of film, video, and performance. This project includes a documentary exhibition, film screenings, video and sound installations, and a series of live programs in the MCA’s new 300-seat theater. Lawrence Steger, Paula Killen, Douglas Ewart, Goat Island, Lynn Book and Theo Bleckmann and Liof Minimula are among those scheduled to give live performances.

The Time Arts Chicago survey exhibition and performances are organized by Lynne Warren, MCA Curator of Special Projects, and Curatorial Assistant Dominic Molon, with assistance in producing performances from Peter Taub, MCA Director of Performance Programs.
