This major traveling exhibition of Sigmar Polke‘s work was organized by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. It also traveled to the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC (February 12–May 7, 1991), and the Brooklyn Museum, New York (October 11, 1991–January 6, 1992).
