This exhibition was the first in-depth exploration of Christian Boltanski’s art in America. It was curated by Lynn Gumpert and Mary Jane Jacob and co-organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; and The New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York. It also traveled to the Vancouver Art Gallery, the University Art Museum, Berkeley, and The Power Plant, Toronto.
