Alix Pearlstein

Saturday, Jun 21–Sunday, Aug 17, 1997

Alix Pearlstein is a young artist based in New York who exhibited in the 1995 MCA video program Use Your Allusion: Recent Video Art. Her work in video and other media makes inventive and playful use of everyday objects to create bizarre scenes and situations that are loaded with sexual innuendo. In this one-person showing in the MCA¹s video gallery, Pearlstein will exhibit Interiors (1996), a work comprising video, sculpture, and a series of drawings, all of which relate to one another.

This exhibition is organized by MCA Curatorial Assistant Dominic Molon.
