Adam Brooks: Denaturalized

Saturday, Feb 14–Sunday, Jul 05, 1998

Carol & Douglas Cohen Gallery

The MCA has invited Chicago-based artist Adam Brooks to create an installation and interpretive electronic tour using objects he has selected from the MCA permanent collection. This is the first in a series of four electronic tour projects commissioned by the MCA as part of Stir It Up, a program designed to provide Chicago-area college and university students with opportunities to experience contemporary art. Through this program, the MCA has developed innovative educational and social programs to serve the needs of its college-age audience.

Funding

Permanent collection exhibitions, audience diversification, and public programs related to Stir It Up at the Museum of Contemporary Art are made possible by a grant from the Lila Wallace-Reader’s Digest Fund.
