The Ruiz Belvis Collective

Designed and led by Chicago artists, Family Day is a monthly program at the MCA for all families and youth. Enjoy FREE admission while taking part in workshops, open studio sessions, gallery tours, and performances.
For this Family Day, engage in programs and activities focused on performance, movement, and self-expression.

Ruiz Belvis Collective

Edlis Neeson Theater*
Join the Ruiz Belvis Collective for a performance inspired by Forecast Form: Art in the Caribbean Diaspora, 1990s–Today. The Ruiz Belvis Collective is an Afro-Latin Jazz youth performance ensemble born at Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center.
*Please note that masks are required in the theater.

Chicago Teaching Artist Gaby Martinez leads families through a multimedia art-making experience focused on dance, movement, and visual art connected to Forecast Form: Art in the Caribbean Diaspora, 1990s–Today.
