Leadership

United by love for art and our vibrant creative community, our aim is to capture the spirit of access, inclusion, and equity in all we do.

At the MCA, our staff, leaders, and Board are members of the communities we serve. We are a passionate and diverse group of individuals with varying backgrounds, interests, and life experiences, and those perspectives help to guide our work.

Our main job as the MCA Leadership team is to work together towards the development and execution of the MCA Strategic Plan, a multi-year project that is building new museum infrastructures through the lens of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (I.D.E.A.) and operational stability.

Through the Strategic Plan, we aim to match programming and resources with the priorities of our staff, artists, and public by establishing channels for dialogue and facilitating ongoing conversations on the urgent issues of our time.

We are also deeply invested in creating an environment of staff wellbeing and building infrastructures that offer staff support in and outside of the museum walls, and that prioritize career development at all levels of employment.

We acknowledge that it takes work to grow, improve, and better our world, and that we cannot enact the goals of the Strategic Plan without care and without input from the people we serve.

We believe we are stronger when we are in conversation with one another, and hope you join us in this ongoing work and dialogue. If you would like to share your thoughts with us or learn more about the many meaningful conversations taking place within our community, please fill out our contact form.

In our mission towards making the MCA a more accessible and equitable place for all, we also invite you to learn more about MCA Leadership, Board, and museum policies and operations through our publicly available Annual Reports, Code of Conduct, and EOO Statement. Thanks for taking the time to get to know us—we hope to see you soon.
