Family Day: Showtime

Free For Families

Enjoy free admission while taking part in workshops and performances, all designed and led by Chicago artists.

Artist-Led Performances

Freedom From and Freedom To

Watch movement and sound performers fuse their diverse artistic backgrounds and practices to create unique interactive experiences. The audience is invited to randomly select a combination of artists, who will then perform together.

Interact with Chicago-based dancers and musicians as they come together in a celebration of movement and sound and improvise new worlds together.

Drag Queen Story Hour

Join Drag Queens Mrs. Yuka Layme and America Powers for story performances and dance breaks.

Color and Play

Immerse yourself in coloring and play with coloring pages and toys provided by the MCA.
