Heinz Holliger

Heinz Holliger - Contemporary Concerts, Inc., presented Swiss virtuoso oboist and avant-garde composer, Heinz Holliger, in his only United States appearance this season. Recognized as the leading exponent of contemporary music for his instrument, Holliger performed Chicago premieres of works for oboe and electronic sources by Globokar and Stockhausen, and Berio's Sequenza VII composed for the soloist.
