Box Office
Tickets are available in person at the MCA Box Office, by phone, and online. Our Box Office team is happy to help you—contact us at 312-397-4010 or BoxOffice@mcachicago.org.
Ticketing Policies
Tickets must be paid in full at time of purchase. There are no refunds or exchanges for any ticketed event.
One valid student or teacher ID is required for each ticket purchased at the student or teacher price. Tickets will be held at the Box Office until a student or teacher ID is presented for each discounted ticket. If you do not present a valid ID, you will be asked to pay the difference for a full-price ticket.
Seating is only guaranteed until the start of each program. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager during non-disruptive moments.
Children eight years of age and older are welcome to attend MCA programs unless specifically noted. All children, regardless of age, must have their own tickets. Pending final program content, content warnings may be issued for younger and more sensitive viewers.
Photography, video, and audio recording are strictly prohibited.
Fine Print

- There are no service charges on your ticket purchase
- You can present your MCA performance ticket stub for free admission to the museum, valid up to 7 days after date of show
- Visitors who attend paid programs can park in the MCA garage for $20. Please ask one of our Visitor Experience staff to validate your parking slip to receive this discount!
- Groups of 10 or more receive a 20% discount. Call the Box Office at 312-397-4010 and we will be happy to assist you with your order.
Standby Tickets
If a program is sold out, standby tickets will be available at the MCA Box Office one hour before the program begins. Standby tickets are purchased on a first-come, first-served basis, one per visitor. If there are seats available. visitors with standby tickets will be seated by the House Manager a few minutes before the program begins. If you purchase a standby ticket and there are no seats available, you must visit the MCA Box Office as soon as the program begins to receive a refund. No refunds will be issued if you are not present to be seated, and/or after the Box Office has closed on the day of the program.
Accessibility
Wheelchair-accessible seating is available for all programs, and Assistive Listening Devices are available for all programs in the Edlis Neeson Theater. Other access services vary depending on the content of each program.
For information on accessibility options such as American Sign Language interpretation, open captioning, and audio description, we encourage you to contact us at Accessibility@mcachicago.org at least two weeks in advance of the program you wish to attend.
