Visionary: Celebrating Andrea Bowers

About

The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago’s Women’s Board proudly welcomes artist Andrea Bowers to share her experiences at the intersection of art and activism. Over nearly three decades, Bowers has built an international reputation for her drawings, videos, and installations, which deal with social issues including women’s and workers’ rights, climate change, and immigration. Join us for an exclusive, intimate conversation with this pioneering artist.

The MCA Women’s Board has kept the MCA at the forefront of art education for more than fifty years. Proceeds of the Visionary luncheon support the MCA’s Learning and Public Programs. Each year, thousands of Chicago youth visit the museum to explore today’s world through the lens of art and culture. Your support is critical to ensuring that the museum remains a vital site for lifelong dialogue and exchange.
