Join Alex Chitty and Raven Munsell as they share parts of their recent research on the behind-the-scenes workings of the preservation and display of Alexander Calder’s artwork. Beloved by many and touched by none, Calder’s kinetic works locate several of the competing axioms at play in contemporary art presentation.

In Progress is a series of public programs designed to give artists, thinkers, and curators a platform for developing new works, and to give patrons a glimpse into the creative process.
