The exhibition traces the intersecting lives of artists who have migrated from the American Midwest to the West Coast since the mid-20th century. West by Midwest explores the relationships between artists, examines the role of place in the creative process, and highlights shared artistic practices.
Please note this tour is entirely in ASL. Spoken English interpretation is not provided. The MCA offers English-language, docent-led tours daily and a Spanish-language, docent-led tour on the first Sunday of every month.
