In Progress: JACK & with Kaneza Schaal

Director Kaneza Schaal and her team give a sneak peek of the library of media and textual materials that have influenced the process of developing JACK & before it appears on the MCA Stage May 24–26. Structured on social codes and trainings, from prison reentry programs to 1950s' sitcoms to debutante balls, JACK & is a comedy of errors that considers the metric-less damages of being in prison—the measure of one's dreaming that is given to the state. This event takes place in the Commons, the MCA's new space for art and civic engagement.
In Progress is a new series of public programs that gives visitors a glimpse into the working practices of artists, curators, and creative thinkers.
