The Journey: The Next Hundred Years

About

Organized by the Chicago Alliance of African American Photographers (CAAAP), this exhibition presents 100 photographs by 60 photographers, encompassing all aspects of daily life of the Chicago area African American communities including the arts, business, religious life, and politics, as well as social issues such as unemployment and homelessness. Founded in March 1999, the CAAAP was established to encourage aesthetic awareness of photography featuring the African American community.
