Coinciding with the exhibition, Jenny Holzer: PROTECT PROTECT, Find Your Voice asks kids to consider what freedom of expression means to them through posters, peace panels, and more.

Activities

  • 1\. Find Your Voice
  • Express yourself in this improvisation workshop that repeats every 30 minutes. Best for ages 5 and up

Fourth floor

  • 2\. Hold that Thought
  • Paint your vision of a peaceful future, then explain your thoughts to our camera. We’ll share your ideas with MCA visitors by screening the footage on our video wall on the main floor.

Ground floor

  • 3\. If I Were President
  • Create sculptures that show what you would do if you were president.

Fourth floor

  • 4\. Promise Me Books
  • Transform an old book into a cool new book of your resolutions to make the world a better place.

Ground floor

  • 5\. Tot Spot/Break Time
  • Refreshments await you in the Kanter Meeting Center, where you can recharge in between art-making activities.
