People Powered
About
People Powered adopts consumer culture's aesthetic forms to distribute information about sustainable living practices such as community composting, recycling, and free public transportation. The projects take the form of pilot programs and are presented as possible models for implementation at the neighborhood level. For 12 x 12, People Powered will present prototypes for Shared: Chicago Blue Bikes, in which junked bicycles are salvaged and rebuilt into a fleet of public bicycles.
