Event Description
Pritzker Director Madeleine Grynsztejn and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago invite you and a guest to attend the Members' Preview for Direct Message: Art, Language, and Power. Enjoy complimentary snacks and a cash bar while being among the first to view the MCA's newest exhibition.
The influence of language pervades our everyday lives, shaping our experience and understanding of the world. Direct Message: Art, Language, and Power explores four approaches that artists across generations have used to interrogate language—Remove, Review, Reframe, and Recode—addressing the complex relationship between modes of communication and power.
Reserve your complimentary tickets by Thursday, October 17.
