The Black Lunch Table challenges photographers everywhere to increase the visibility of visual artists of the African Diaspora. From now through Juneteenth (June 19, 2018) you can submit your original photographs related to the Black Lunch Table task list or visit the MCA Commons to learn more about how to add to diversity in Wikipedia.
This challenge is important because Wikipedia is still missing so many images of notable artists of the African Diaspora. Just a fraction of Wikipedia articles of important black artists have pictures. Let’s add images to Wikimedia projects, so that the invisible may be seen on Juneteenth.
