About the Event
Tammy McCann is a story teller who draws emotion from and makes connections with here audiences worldwide. Her powerful, sultry, and emotionally charged voice paints pictures and tells stories by merging classical vocal technique and gospel aesthetic with jazz to create a sound that is completely her own. She is an internationally recognized jazz vocalist and is currently artist in residence for the Music Institute of Chicago. The Chicago Tribune has named her best Jazz Vocal Performance four years running. She is joined at the MCA by guitarist Mike Allemana.
