This series of three gallery conversations proposes that we look at Mark Bradford’s work in relation to different social and cultural contexts. Each are led by a guest presenter and museum staff and the conversation asks: What’s the nature of this scene? What record of it do we see in Bradford’s art? Why does it matter to his work and to culture now?
Conversation III features Terry R. Myers, a widely regarded Chicago- and Los Angeles–based writer, educator, and independent curator.
