DanceMasters Class with Troika Ranch

Led by Dawn Stoppiello, cofounder of Troika Ranch, this hybrid class combines movement, language, and concepts from the digital domain to reconnect dancers to their pre-trained, raw bodies. The warm-up phase is culled from both old and new traditions. The phrase work draws from Troika Ranch’s style of dance as it relates to computer systems and digital video, exploring notions of editing, looping, scratching, and rapid transformations of both scale and time.
