About the Speaker
Michelle Grabner is an artist and Associate Professor in the Painting and Drawing Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She runs The Suburban, an artist project space in Oak Park, IL. She received her MFA from Northwestern University, where she studied under painters Ed Paschke and William Conger. She received a MA in art history and a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
