Contemporary Concerts: Trio Exvoco - This was the American premiere of Trio Exvoco of Stuttgart. Founded in 1973, the trio performs music and poetry written for voice and sound by 19th and 20th century composers. Its members are Hanna Aurbacher, Ewald Liska, Theophil Maier and electronic technician Hans-Jörg Bauer. The company performed the music and poetry of Mauricio Kagel, Werner Heider, Dieter Schnabel, Raoul Hausmann, Paul de Vree, Ladislav Novak, Sylvano, Bussotti, Pierre Albert-Birot, Hugo Ball, Henri Chopin, Maurice Lamaitre, Arrigo Lora-Totino, Richard Huelsenbeck, Marcel Janko, Tristan Tzara, Bob Cobbing and Kurt Schwitters.
