White Mystery
About
White Mystery is the Chicago-based brother-sister rock ‘n’ roll duo of Alex White and Francis Scott Key White. The Whites, who founded the group in 2008, are known for their punishing tour schedule: Alex claims that they played 300 shows over the course of three years. The siblings regularly play both nationally and internationally.
They aren't just known for their live performances, though. They have also released five full-length albums and have received stellar reviews from tastemakers like MTV, Vice, and Pitchfork.
In September of 2014, the MCA invited the duo to cover some of David Bowie's most iconic songs to celebrate the opening of the museum's record-setting exhibition David Bowie Is. The duo's stripped down power ballads and pop hits did not disappoint.
