Julia Baroni is a 17-year-old multimedia artist and high school senior from the suburbs of Chicago. Julia is motivated by the challenge of visualizing ideas and concepts that cannot be seen through comic art and editorial illustration. Her artistic process includes scanning her own traditional paintings and sketches into the computer to mash them up with her digital drawings, researching, writing, and people watching. Through all her work, Julia’s goal remains to communicate ideas in provocative ways.
