About

When was the last time you watched a film that had a live score accompaniment? While considered a must-have during the silent films of the 1920s, live orchestra film screenings have only begun to see a resurgence within the last couple of years. Tonight at 6 pm, stop-motion animation and live music combine in writer/director Alexis Gideon's The Crumbling. Set in a dream-like town that's mysteriously crumbling down, only the apprentice librarian can save her city. Preview the film above, and join us tonight for this free screening. On Tuesdays, the MCA is open until 8 pm and free for Illinois residents.
