About
Summer Tuesdays come alive on the MCA’s Anne and John Kern Terrace Garden, with free music highlighting artists from Chicago’s internationally renowned jazz community. Enjoy two sets of live music beginning at 5:30 pm and running until 8 pm.
Food and beverages are available for purchase on the upper terrace. Options on Tuesdays include light refreshments and a full bar with cold beverages, wine, and cocktails. While outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited, guests are welcome to bring picnics and spread out on the lawn.
The 2022 presentation of Tuesdays on the Terrace is organized by MCA curatorial assistant Laura Paige Kyber with program advisors Al Carter Bey, Steve Saltzman, and Mwata Bowden.
Tuesdays on the Terrace is hosted by Al Carter Bey, WDCB 90.9 FM.
