Art + Design for Action: Carolina Caycedo

About the Event

To premiere the IIT Institute of Design’s Action Lab Perspectives series, artist Carolina Caycedo presents her approach to artmaking and its relevance to design and changemaking, followed by a conversation and Q&A with Action Lab director Carlos Teixeira and Institute of Design student Caro Silva. With a focus on decolonization, sustainability, and justice, Caycedo uses facilitation and participatory processes to reveal the effects of legacy structures and systems in determining our reality and demonstrates how we can leverage networks and relationships to build more responsible and cooperative futures.
