Presented by Instituto Cervantes in association with the MCA

Bailaoras Israelíes del Café de Chinitas
(Israeli Dancers of Café de Chinitas)
The Four Elements

Don't miss this extraordinary event direct from Madrid's legendary Café de Chinitas, home to the world's leading Flamenco artists. For the first time since generations past, two dancers born in Israel reign as bailaoras in Madrid and are accompanied by an incomparable grouping of electric cello, cajon, guitar, and voice.

The program embodies the four elements of nature and the four palos, the forms of flamenco that have stirred the human heart for centuries: joy (alegrías) as water; temptation (tientos) as earth; tangos, as air; and the sun (soleares) as fire. This exceptional fusion commemorates the twentieth anniversary of Israeli-Spanish diplomatic relations.

Flamenco Festival Closing Reception
Immediately following the performance, join us and the artists for fine Spanish food and wine at the closing celebration of the 2007 Chicago Flamenco Festival, held at the Instituto Cervantes (just one block north of the MCA at 875 N Michigan Avenue, suite 2940).

For tickets call the MCA Box Office at 312.397.4010.
