Circle of Influence: Letters by Dan Flavin and Artists? Books by His Peers

This artists’ book exhibition coincides with the exhibition Dan Flavin: A Retrospective. Drawing from Dan Flavin’s letters concerning his installation of alternating pink and “gold” at the MCA in 1967, this show also includes a selection of artists’ books and writings by Flavin’s Minimalist peers. Artists include Robert Smithson, Dan Graham, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Fred Sandback, James Turrell, and others.
